National Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications
As National Director of Marketing and PR, Linda Hayes is responsible for building the company brand across the country through advertising, public relations, digital and social media.
Linda began her career as a TV journalist, most notably as a CNN Correspondent, based in Los Angeles. She covered the Oscar's, Golden Globes and Grammy Awards and interviewed some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Prior to working the entertainment beat, Linda was a national news correspondent for the network and reported on the L.A. Riots and the O.J. Simpson double murder trial. Highlights of her TV journalism career included flying with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and interviewing Vice President Al Gore, President Bill Clinton, and President George H. W. Bush during their times in office.
Post television days, Linda worked in media relations for Dix & Eaton, a large public relations firm in Cleveland, Ohio. Later, she formed her own PR firm with the following client list: The Cleveland Browns, The Cleveland Indians, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Morton’s Steak House, and Capstone Realty Advisors.
Linda’s passion for real estate, design and development led her to Bellwether Enterprise where she has focused on growing market share and positioning BWE as a leader in the CRE industry. Linda has a BA degree in Economics from Denison University.
Creative Director, Corporate Communications
As Creative Director of Marketing, Christine is responsible for the creative direction of marketing communications, as well as company branding efforts for Bellwether Enterprise. In addition to creating emails, direct mail, brochures, newsletters and other company literature, Christine has expanded her position to include graphic design, advertising, and web-design.
After owning a retail boutique on the East Coast for several years, Christine developed a design aesthetic and marketing protocol that is based on, “never settling for the satisfactory.” She is focused on providing quality marketing support that is effective, comprehensive, and visually pleasing.
A jack of all things creative – Christine has a passion for fine arts, dabbling in oil paints and watercolors in her free time, as well as creative writing, textile arts, graphic design, and woodworking. Christine’s desire to create drives her professional work as exemplified by her attention to detail and consistency in marketing innovation.
Christine studied English Literature at Columbia University in New York City, where she focused on Creative Writing, penning original short stories, poetry, and theatrical pieces.
Marketing Content Manager
As Marketing Content Manager, Ryan works to tell the company’s story and communicate the company's brand through the eyes of its employees and clients using video and other content creation. Ryan manages and creates video content for internal and external distribution – which includes producing and hosting "Mission Control – The Bellwether Enterprise Podcast."
Ryan graduated from the E. W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. He is a diehard Cleveland sports fan and enjoys spending time homebrewing beer, traveling, and experiencing the outdoors by fishing, canoeing, and hiking with his wife Liz and their two dogs, Lily and Marshall.
As the newest member of the BWE marketing team, Emily is responsible for making creative collateral within the company. She works closely with the BWE Investment Sales Team to design eye-catching marketing materials.
Before her start at BWE, Emily worked in the juvenile products industry in marketing and graphic design. She attended and managed consumer marketing events, managed website designs, and interfaced with the global sales team to bring children’s products to the market. She loves to bring ideas to life through design. She has a niche for bridging communication and creativity. Emily studied graphic design and advertising at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. She spent a semester abroad at Walailak University in Thailand where she studied photography and marine biology. After graduation, she worked in agritourism at a quinta (winery) in the Douro Valley, Portugal. There, she worked with people from around the world, introducing them to the culture and cuisine of the local area.
Emily is always looking for new approaches to expanding her creative eye and perspective. When she’s not working, she loves to play sand volleyball with friends, create graphic posters and paint, and plan her next travel adventure.
