Joe Cortese

Joe joins the Bellwether Enterprise St. Louis office with 20 years of experience servicing, underwriting, and closing nearly $2 billion in life insurance company and agency real estate loans secured by a wide variety of income-producing property-types. Joe is a licensed Missouri Broker-Salesperson who received his Certified Commercial Investment Member (“CCIM”) designation in 2007.  Prior to joining BWE, he was the 2020 Analyst of the Year at a privately-owned national commercial mortgage banking firm, due in large part to recommendations from multiple lenders and borrowers.

Originally from Napa, CA, Joe was raised in Orange County. He resides with his wife and children in St. Louis, where he has lived for over 21 years.
