Mark Vannelli

Mark has spent the past 35 years in commercial real estate finance and investment banking. As a current Principal and EVP his role as Director of Central Region for Bellwether Enterprise he and his team are responsible for the origination and placement of commercial real estate loans with institutional third party lenders on behalf of Bellwether Enterprise’s exclusive life insurance company investor clients which would also include Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA.  In addition, Mark has an ongoing Executive leadership role as liaison for Bellwether Enterprise to it’s life insurance company clients in maintaining long-standing relationships as well as collaborating with them on innovative debt strategies. The 2014 merger of his company Towle Financial Services along with their contributed servicing portfolio have helped to make Bellwether one of the top mortgage banking firms in the country currently over $40B in loan servicing and 32 offices across the country.

His past professional experience has also included; 7 years as a Director of Commercial Mortgage Lending at Wells Fargo Bank, NA. and  after earning a BA from the University of St. Thomas he spent several years as an underwriter in the Minneapolis office for the investment banking firm Miller & Schroeder Financial. Additionally, he has been a contributor to several real estate industry sponsored programs as both a moderator as well as a panel member on behalf of several organizations including the Minnesota Chapter of NAIOP, the Minnesota Shopping Center Association and the Minnesota Real Estate Journal.

Mark is a graduate of University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management
