Taylor Mokris

Taylor currently serves as a SVP, Seniors Housing & Care at Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital (BWE). BWE's team partners with the top owners of seniors housing and care real estate in the US to help them access experienced and competitive debt and equity capital. The primary focus of the team is real estate finance as a Fannie Mae DUS® lender, Freddie Mac Optigo® seller/servicer, FHA LEAN lender and bridge and construction lender through BWE's minority equity partner, Fifth Third Bank (NASDAQ: FITB). The team also serves as debt and/or equity advisor to select clients.

Most recently Taylor served as a Credit Officer within Specialty Real Estate Capital at Wells Fargo, covering the Senior Housing Finance (SHF) & Multifamily Capital (MFC) divisions. Taylor had direct involvement in Seniors Housing origination activity of $6Bn+ and was responsible for credit approval and oversight of a portfolio of $3Bn+. Prior, Taylor was a Relationship Manager on the SHF team since its formal inception in early 2014. Before joining the SHF team, Taylor was a Relationship Manager within Wells Fargo's Real Estate Managed Assets Group, focused on the timely resolution of problem CRE assets where he assisted in the management of just under $1Bn of exposure and was directly responsible for a portfolio of $150mm.

Taylor attended The College of William and Mary on a full basketball scholarship and graduated with a degree in business administration, with a major in finance and concentration in accounting. He is also a graduate of Wells Fargo's 3-year Wholesale Banking Financial Analyst Program and has served as a guest lecturer at The College of William and Mary's Mason School of Business. Taylor resides outside of his hometown of Charlotte, NC with his wife and four children, where he is active coaching youth sports, has been a participant and supporter of numerous mentorship programs, is involved in several adoption ministries, and has served on the board of the Pregnancy Resource Center and as an elder at his church.
