BWE Investment Sales, LLC (BWEIS), an affiliate of Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC (BWE), announced today that Cody Carey has joined the company as a Vice President with a focus on the multifamily investment sales platform. He brings with him a team including Ted Hobson and CJ Trudell, and will be based in the firm’s Columbus, OH, office.
“Columbus is a strategic target market for BWEIS, and we are thrilled to welcome Cody’s team. Their addition deepens our capabilities in the Midwest and will be incredibly complementary to the BWE Columbus financing team, which is ranked #1 in the region,” said David Roth, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of BWE Investment Sales. “Columbus has become one of the most desired investment markets in the country, and its recent transformation into the ‘Silicon Heartland’ has surged capital investment demand for commercial real estate in the region. We are very pleased with our hiring momentum as we continue to attract top property sales talent to partner with our best-in-class debt financing capabilities across the country.”
Before joining BWEIS, Carey was a Vice President in the Columbus office of Colliers International, where he spearheaded the expansion of the Colliers Multifamily Investment Sales team throughout the Midwest with a predominant focus on the Ohio markets.
“We have been following the impressive growth of BWEIS, and we couldn’t be more excited to join the team. We are thrilled to be joining a forward-looking platform that invests in its people and technology and promotes a collaborative culture, all to help us best serve our clients,” said Carey. “We look forward to collaborating with our new teammates who are truly the best at what they do. BWE is perennially the most active multifamily capital provider in Ohio, so we have an opportunity to be a phenomenal one-stop shop. Our team looks forward to elevating the company's presence in the Midwest and leveraging a full suite of products to help current and future clients alike.”
Carey graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual specializations in Accounting Management & Information Systems and Real Estate Finance. While there, he actively assisted in the creation of Ohio State’s Center for Real Estate Case Competition.
