Alex Ison

Serving as Vice President of Finance of BWE Investment Sales, Alex Ison oversees financial underwriting, property valuations, and transaction management for market rate and affordable transactions across the national multifamily platform.  Alex brings both principal and brokerage experience to BWE Investment Sales, along with extensive experience working with institutional, affordable, and private client real estate owners and investment transactions.

Alex has worked in commercial real estate for over 10 years prior to joining BWE Investment Sales. Most recently, Alex served as the Director of Finance at Matthews Real Estate Investments Services, where he oversaw finance and underwriting for the national multifamily platform. Before that, Alex worked for the NRP Group, one of the most active multifamily Class A and affordable developers in the country. At NRP, Alex was the Senior Manager of Investments, responsible for asset management, transaction management, and financial underwriting of disposition and recapitalization transactions. At NRP, Alex was part of a team that successfully closed over $2 billion in multifamily transactions.

Alex is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting & Finance. Additionally, Alex holds an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Management & Finance from Baldwin Wallace University.
