Ibi Lumpkins

As Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriter for Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital’s FHA lending platform, Ibi is responsible for the company’s processing, underwriting and closing of all FHA-insured multifamily and healthcare transactions.  Ibi manages a team of  underwriting professionals spread throughout the country from a remote office in Seattle, Washington.

Prior to joining Bellwether in January 2015, Ibi worked with Berkadia Commercial Mortgage (and its predecessor companies) for 18 years, starting as an administrative assistant and processor, ultimately promoted to Senior Underwriter.  As an underwriter Ibi directly underwrote more than $250 million in multifamily and healthcare transactions and was responsible for training of numerous MAP and LEAN accredited underwriters.  Prior to his tenure at Berkadia, Ibi spent four years working in various capacities at the Chicago Regional Office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development after a four year enlistment in the U.S. Navy.
