BWE Investment Sales, LLC (BWEIS), the investment sales organization that works closely with BWE, a national commercial and multifamily mortgage banking company, announced today the launch of a new seniors housing and care investment sales platform (BWEIS Seniors). Headed by Charles Bissell, a veteran seniors housing leader with over 30 years of experience in the industry, the BWEIS Seniors team will partner with the BWE seniors housing debt and structured finance team to offer a full suite of capital markets solutions to their best-in-class clients across the seniors housing and care continuum.
As Senior Vice President of BWEIS Seniors, Bissell will build and lead a team of dynamic investment sales professionals with a focus on the seniors housing sector. Partnering with Ryan Stoll, BWE’s National Director of Seniors Housing and Care, and Taylor Mokris, BWE’s Senior Vice President of Seniors Housing and Care, Bissell is responsible for representing clients in the sale and capitalization of seniors housing assets, as well as growing the BWEIS Seniors platform. He has been involved in commercial real estate since 1986 and has worked in the seniors housing sector since 1995.

The launch of BWEIS Seniors comes as part of an expansion of BWE Investment Sales to include regional hubs across the country and national industry specialties that align with the expertise within BWE. The continued growth of BWE Investment Sales will allow the company to serve the needs of real estate owners even more fully.

Prior to joining BWEIS, Bissell was a Managing Director with JLL’s Capital Markets Group, where he was charged with growing the group’s production and presence in the seniors housing sector. Bissell successfully recruited and managed a seniors housing investment sales team and helped facilitate growth in the group’s production from $0.8B in 2020 to $2.6B in 2022. Prior to that, Bissell co-founded and co-managed the ARA National Seniors Housing investment sales platform. Bissell holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Dallas Baptist University.
